New Opportunity for Torah Study
On January 7, 2012 (Shabbat Veyechi), a new weekly Torah study program will begin. Meeting each Shabbat from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. in the Mowshowitz Sanctuary, participants will be part of an interactive experience, studying the parsha of the week. Open to both members and non-members, no prior Torah study experience is required for this program and beginners are encouraged to attend. The only requirement is that you read the parsha before you attend, so you can be an active participant in the lively discussions that will surely take place. The first two sessions will be led by Iris Schachter and Michael Brofman. After that, study group members will lead later sessions on a rotating voluntary basis. Please speak with Iris or Michael for more details or contact them at folkdance[at]aol[dot]com or mbrofman[at]weisszarett[dot]com to let them know that you are interested in attending. Make it your secular New Year resolution to bring more Torah into your life!
